Day 2 began with another early breakfast to make the 9AM voyage across the open water to Manly. The harbour was a hive of activity with many of the locals enjoying the unexpectedly warm weather. Once we arrived we split into forwards and backs and began training on the beach. The forwards focused on their line out moves whilst the backs practised their 1v1s and their footwork. This was followed by a cool down period in the apparently “cold” 17 degrees sea water. For lunch we split into groups of 5 and chose where we wanted to go before heading back to the hostel to get our bags and head to meet our Billets for the next two nights.
